The staff were friendly and helpful, offering food recommendations and arranging transportation when needed. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with amenities such as air conditioning, a fridge, and a TV. The location was convenient, being close to public transport, a shopping mall, and places of interest. One advantage that I enjoyed was the good smoking area and pool. the parking facility was easily accessible and reasonably priced.
The WiFi was only reliable during late-night hours when fewer people were using it. The staff, while friendly during check-in, seemed to become less attentive afterwards.

During our recent stay at Wassup Youth in Penang, we were delighted by the exceptional facilities and the flexibility in their check-in policy. Despite arriving early in the morning, the hostel allowed us to check in before the standard time of 2.00 pm, which was a pleasant surprise. While waiting for our rooms to be ready, we had access to a well-equipped waiting room with amenities such as bathroom, kitchen, TV, and even a swimming pool for our comfort. The location of the hostel was also convenient, being close to the bus station and easily accessible. Additionally, the female dormitory rooms exceeded our expectations, as they had private bathrooms, which added an extra touch of comfort to our stay. We highly recommend this hostel to all travelers.

Easy parking, close to town and tourist ports, comfortable and clean facilities, good value for money, lounge available to relax in. The dorm room had two bathrooms for just four beds, which was super convenient. The location was also GREAT, just outside the old part of town and a quick walk into town. The staff was helpful, and there was a common area with a kitchen, small swimming pool, and even a bar. The room had everything we needed, including a mini fridge, kettle with tea and coffee, and a flat-screen TV. The mall and famous street arts were within walking distance. We also enjoyed the free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, fitness center, and game room available.
